Product Description
The Exosomal Marker Antibody Sampler Kit provides an economical method to evaluate the presence of exosome markers. The kit contains enough primary antibodies to perform two Western blotting experiments on each target.And also includes secondary reagent for detection of these antibodies.

Background
Exosomes are small membrane-bound vesicles that in recent years have emerged as important molecules for inter-cellular communication.The exosomal markers contained in this kit are Alix, Annexin V, ICAM-1, CD9, GM130, EpCAM, flotillin, and HSP70.</br> Alix regulates many cellular processes . Annexin V is a ~30 kDa protein that binds to phospho-lipids in a calcium-dependent manner. CD54 or ICAM-1 is a cell surface glycoprotein that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily (IgSF) of adhesion molecules.The CD9 antigen belongs to the tetraspanin family of cell surface glycoproteins. GM130 is required for membrane fusion events. EpCAM/CD326 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that mediates calcium-independent, Flotillins belong to a famiy of lipid raft-associated integral membrane proteins. HSP70 is a molecular chaperone expressed constituitively under normal conditions to maintain protein homeostatis and is induced upon environmental stress .

Western blot analysis of ALIX on different lysates with Rabbit anti-ALIX antibody (ET1705-74) at 1/2,000 dilution.
Lane 1: HEK-293 cell lysate
Lane 2: K-562 cell lysate
Lane 3: Jurkat cell lysate
Lane 4: PC-3M cell lysate

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (ET1705-74) at 1/2,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4℃ overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (HA1001) at 1:50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature. -
